Photo Gallery and Relaxation

Texas is my home, sweet home. Here’s a glimpse of my life away from the keyboard.

This page loads a little slowly due to the photos but it is worth the wait.

My dogs and me in a patch of my favorite flowers, Texas bluebonnets.

Two cats and two dogs share our home life. Penny and Cooper, the two cats, look identical, but they were born over two hundred miles apart. Penny loved the spring daffodil arrangement. Sally, the Miniature Schnauzer, has been my constant companion for eight years now. We never thought we’d have a second dog, but then St. Francis sent a Chihuahua/Terrier mix, Lollypop, to us. When she first wandered into the yard, she only weighed four pounds and my vet wasn’t sure she’d live. She’s thriving now and Sally has taught Lollypop how to get Dad to feed them during supper and shares her favorite sleeping spots.

The other creative aspect of my life is crocheting. Lollypop is snuggled on an afghan I’m making for a young friend graduating from high school. The purple afghan was a gift to Harlequin Blaze author, Tawny Weber. (http://www.tawnyweber.com). The green hearts baby afghan went to Lisa Paitz Spindler (http://www.lisapaitzspindler.com/blog/ ) and the bunny baby afghan was a gift to Harlequin Intrigue and Zebra author Kathleen Long (http://www.kathleenlong.com). And in the interests of going green, I made a purse by crocheting together soda can tabs. I gave it to a friend of mine who teaches to show her students creative ways to recycle.
